| Would you support Term Limits? |
I fully and without any doubt support term limits for elected offices. The worst thing that ever happened to our government was the creation of the career politicians and even worse professional politicians. The career politicians eventually forget where they come from and who they are supposed to be working for. The professional politician never even cared in the first place and began with the desire to “rule” rather than “serve”. Both of these threats to the integrity of our Government would be eliminated by term limits.
In addition to the implementation of Term Limits, I would support the following:
Voters have to show proof of ID at polling places to eliminate voter fraud.
The removal of “Straight Ticket Voting” from ballots to eliminate votes based on party rather than principle.
A mailed return record of receipt for absentee voters. This would ensure absentee voters that their ballot was received and counted. It would also alert those who haven’t voted that a ballot has been cast in their name.
