| Are you in support of the KRM Project? |
Whether you are for or against KRM there is one fact that is undeniable; we simply can’t afford it. Wisconsin currently has an enormous spending deficit and experts aren’t exactly predicting an economic recovery in the near future. In fact the majority or economists are predicting things to get even worse before they get better. The logical solution is to put the project on hold until a more prosperous time. If proponents of the KRM Line cannot wait for this to happen, it only supports the public opinion that this is the wrong time economically. Purchasing trains, building infrastructure and subsidizing ridership with taxpayer dollars at this time is a fiscally irresponsible act. Anyone who denies this fact is not someone you should trust making such long term decisions with your tax dollars.
