Daane Hoffman is an average guy like many of his fellow Wisconsinites. He
has a family that consists of a beautiful and loving Wife, imaginative 7 year old
step-son, active dog and less than active cat. They are a two income family who are
just getting by with a little left over to save and even less to spend for fun.

Daane works in the Information Technology Field for an outsourced
pharmacy provider located in Lake Forest, IL. Like the majority of the Residents
of the 64th District, he makes the same commute across the border for work everyday,
Monday through Friday (as well as the occasional weekend).

Daane and his wife are a home owner in the City of Kenosha. Their
house is small and old (built in 1905), but they call it home. They, like everyone
else has felt the crushing feeling of dropping home values racing with the
remaining balance of their mortgage.

U.S. Navy (1999-2003)

Daane is a Navy IAV Veteran. He enlisted in January 1999 as an E-2. While serving his Country he served aboard the USS Tarawa (LHA-1), the USNS Niagara Falls (T-AFS 3) and the USS Boxer (LHD-4). He was deployed for two WESTPAC deployments and one year long forward deployed assignment. After serving 9 months over his original commitment, Daane separated honorably as IT2(SW) Hoffman.

U.S. Naval Reserve (2003-2006)

After his Honorable Discharge from Active Duty, Daane volunteered to finish the remainder of his 8 year OBLISERV as an Active Reservist. While reporting to Great Lakes Naval Station, the Reserve Unit supported COMPATRECONWING 5 in Brunswick, Maine.

Eagle Scout (1996)

Daane was awarded the Honor of Eagle Scout in 1996. Scouting has been a large part of who he is and what he believes in today. Earning this prestigious rank is to this day is one of his proudest accomplishments in life. During his time in Scouting Daane became a Member of the OA as well as worked numerous summers at Camp Ma-Ka-Ja-Wan in Pearson, Wisconsin.
